Who would have thought ten years ago that we were going to dig into Michelin-starred edibles? Cloud 11 combines gastronomy and cannabis for a starred culinary experience.

Cloud 11 began with the vision of chef and sommelier Nicholas Pritzker: to refine and elevate the edible experience by imbuing it with the pleasures of gastronomy. To turn her vision into reality, Pritzker has teamed up with Chef Manuela Sanin, an alumnus of the legendary three-Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park restaurant. The result? Hand-crafted, hand-delivered cannabis culinary sweets that are edible art.

Cloud 11’s edibles aren’t meant to get you high

Cloud 11 doesn’t exist to get you high. Think of it more as fine dining for edibles: an experience that revolves around multidimensional pleasure. The exquisite taste, the physical sensations, the fabulous persistence of flavors in the mouth … Confectionery from Cloud 11 is designed for you to take a moment to relax and vibrate in a high state of awakening of the senses. Intended to be savored, the innate pleasure of each confection is undeniable. It’s a high mood. Luxurious. And yes, the experience could even be called orgasmic.

Science may explain why chocolate and THC are such an undeniable pleasure combo. In 2007 psychologist David Lewis published a study explaining how melting chocolate in your mouth activates more pleasure centers in your brain than to kiss. And, yes, there is more. The sensory high of chocolate lasts up to four times longer than even the most passionate smooch. Now, combine the effects of chocolate with 2mg or 4mg of delicately dosed THC … and the euphoria can last for hours.

Cloud 11’s first edible collection

For his first collection, Chef Sanin created three distinct flavors of Cloud 11: salted peanut, strawberry, pink pepper and black sesame yuzu. Meticulous about sourcing, Sanin uses only Harry’s berries from a small organic farm outside of Oxnard, Calif., For his signature strawberry and pink pepper candy. The acidity of this particular strawberry balances perfectly with the chocolate. The floral touch of pink pepper adds bursts of crisp, bitter flavor.

“I think the ingredients should be able to speak for themselves,” says Sanin. “I wanted to work with flavors that are delicious on their own, but combined with each other and with cannabis, they set the stage for an experience greater than the sum of its parts. “

Salted Peanut Confectionery features an addictive and silky peanut butter ganache with sea salt from Amagansett Sea Salt Co. for the perfect balance. Black sesame yuzu is quickly becoming a cult favorite, with Wadaman sesame paste from Japan balancing the crisp, vibrant crispness of yuzu. Bright citrus notes and subtle smoke provide a perfect, lingering finish.

Each confection is purposefully low-dosed with precisely 2mg of THC or 4mg of THC with a CBD emulsion for a smooth takeoff and soft landing. Comfortable even for first-time edibles enthusiasts, Cloud 11’s Confectionery is a safe and delicious exploration of edibles without overdoing it.
